Creative Digital Printing Class
March 1 – April 5 (First three Mondays at 6 p.m. and 3 classes scheduled at a time of your choice)
The first three classes will be in the education building at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, and the last three will be at Presentations, etc. STUDIO for a hands-on printing experience. Register online: http://www.bbgardens.org/photography.php
This class will cover the basics of color management, file management and work flow for digital printing with a focus on fine art printing and creative presentations. Explore the different substrates for printing. Learn how to make exhibition quality prints, ‘heirloom’ photographs that will last for generations and artwork reproductions on beautiful archival cotton and watercolor papers.
For the visual artist we will spend time defining the black & white palettes as well as the papers and printing techniques for optimal D-max and quality.
If you are not a photographer or artist, this class will teach you to scan and print old photographs for scrapbooking or display.

Photo Restoration

Use Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Elements to make old, damaged or faded images new again!
